Throughout the event, students took part in breakout workshops covering topics such as self-esteem, safe dating and career planning.

Held in partnership with BOCES criminal justice instructors and the Suffolk County Police Department, the academy ran from April 7 to April 11 and concluded with a graduation ceremony.
